Terms of Use
1. General Provisions (1) Your privacy is very important to us. We observe the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Personal Information Protection Policy. We designed our Privacy Policy to make important disclosures about how you can use our website to share with others and how we collect and can use your content and information. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy, and to use it to help make informed decisions. (2) Privacy Policy is shown in the main page of our homepage. (3) Business School sets a series of process to revise Privacy Policy. In case of revision, we are willing to help you check the new version with convenience. 2. Agreement - SNU CBA collects your information in terms of Privacy Policy and your agreement. 3. Information We Receive i) We collect your information for the purposes below. - Verification and confirmation for providing our services - Informing of academic affairs including lectures and other types of educational information ii) We do not collect and store sensitive personal information such as race, ethnic orientation, political & religious view, criminal record, health and sexual privacy. 4. When you sign up for SNU CBA homepage information listed below is collected and stored automatically. - Your internet server domain and visited site history - The type of your browser and other OS - Your access Date iii) Information collected for the reasons above will be used to help better interaction with the website, improvement of the service quality based on statistic analysis, and communication between user and the website. This information may be submitted by requests in lawful cases. 5. Information You Share With Third Parties i) We use your information for the purposes mentioned above exclusively, and we do not share your information with third party individuals and organizations. ii) We may make your information available to someone other than SNU CBA. Prior to allowing them to access any information about you, we require them to agree to terms that limit their use of your information and inform you of the use and purposes. We use technical measures to ensure that they only obtain authorized information. 6. View and Change Your Information i) You can always view and change your information. If change is needed, click ¡°Change Information¡±, or contact the information manager. ii) In case that you request information change, we don¡¯t use your information until the change has successfully completed. 7. Withdraw Your Agreement i) You can always withdraw your agreement to collecting and providing your information. To withdraw your agreement, you need to request the process by deciding to leave our school or contact the manager via E-mail. ii) We provide the same procedures as of collecting your information. 8. Obtaining Information of Others - You are not allowed to obtain other¡¯s information including E-mail address in the websites owned by promotion agencies. 9. How We Protect Information - We do our best to keep your information secure, but we need your help. For more detailed information about staying safe on the websites, read the articles listed below. i) Your information is protected by password basically. All information is protected by data encoding and file lock system as well. ii) We keep your account information on a secured server behind a firewall and vaccine program. Vaccine is updated periodically. iii) When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers and passwords), we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL or SET). iv) Intrusion detection system is built in each server in order to prevent data spill. 10. Outsourcing Information - We leave some of your information in charge of outside organizations. i) Prior to consigning your data to be processed, you will be informed of it. ii) We will have an outsourcing contract, which ensures them the privacy policy, secrecy of your information, not providing your information to third parties, and chargeability. Report Claims - SNU CBA is committed to protecting your privacy and opens a page for you to report claims and recommendations. To report a claim on privacy, contact the information manager and we will inform you of the result as soon as possible. Privacy Policy
1. Agreement: The Website of Seoul National University Business School is owned and operated by SNU CBA and provides services in condition that institutes and users agree with the terms of service. Terms and policies are subject to change and the latest version is available in the terms and use policy page. 2. Purpose: Terms and policies for this website are to stipulate use process and other requirements for users to help better use of the services. 3. User Obligations (1) Users of this site are to provide personal information in accordance with the current facts during the registration process. (2) Users are to renew personal information upon the case. In care of providing incorrect information or violating regulations stated in (4), the user may be restricted from use of this website by graduate school office according to Article 12. (3) Users receive password and account after registration process, which should be secured with responsibility. In case of illegal use of account and password without the user¡¯s approval, you should report the case to the manager of the website. Confirmation process of end use of the account is strongly needed. (4) Users must accept the agreement of not using the services for the followings. a. All behaviors to harm other people b. Posting obscene data, texts, software, music, photos, graphics, and video messages. c. Imposing as someone else or providing incorrect personal information d. Posting copyrighted materials e. Posting unapproved advertisement and product promotion or sending junk/spam/chain mails recommending pyramid structure sales f. (6) Users must agree that they will not use, copy, sell, or resale the services for commercial purpose. 4. Institute Obligation (1) Graduate school should observe the regulations related to operation of the services, including rules of promotion of ISDN, telecommunication security, electric communication. 5. Privacy Agreement of Institute - Graduate School collects and hold user information to provide our users with valuable products and services. Privacy Agreement is subject to change without notice. The latest version is available in Privacy Agreement of Institute page. 6. General Custom - Users may make rules and regulations on the use of the services of the website 7. Links - Users may provide links to World Wide Web sites and other types of materials. Graduate school has no control over the links and the contents provided by users, including advertisement and products. Graduate school has no responsibility except special occasions. 8. Contents - Users are to contact the content maker to ask about accuracy, security, and quality of content. Not all the contents are made and provided by the institute and Graduate School is immune from responsibility except when the case is willful negligence or gross negligence. - Graduate school may re-categorize a user¡¯s content and the user may refuse or move the content posted without the institute¡¯s supervision. Graduate School is endowed the right to delete illegal contents which violate the website¡¯s terms of service. 9. Open Contents (1) ¡°Open service area¡± is the place where the public can approach such as community and bulletin board. 10. Opening of private information - Graduate school can provide the third party with user information including user¡¯s name and E-mail address. (a) Police and government¡¯s request due to a user¡¯s illegal acts (b) Investigation and Confirmation of a users¡¯ illegal acts (c) Other cased with legal basis 11. Termination - If you violate the letter or spirit of the website as following, your account can be terminated or the content can be deleted. We will notify you and give an opportunity for excuse. Termination of the account will be withdrawn only if your excuse is proved to be fair. (1) Destroying or stealing of other user¡¯s private information with inappropriate ways. (2) Uploading and spreading viruses or other malicious code (3) Posting content that is hateful, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
